Project Description
Darwin Bistro.
Darwin Bistro Bar is a small French bistro in the heart of the city. The project was to design and do the fit out work for a French restaurant, which had a very modern twist on the traditional French food. The menu had a fusion mix to the French style.
The design intent was to create a contemporary and modern bistro interior. An inviting ambiance has been created throughout with the use of recycled old materials with new, brick, and wood also played a nice warm contrast with the grays and black of the interior. Large antique mirrors were used to make the space look bigger.
Attention was given to details, such as interior lights, tables and the bar. A barrel was used to represent the restaurant logo.
