Sattar & Co
The project was to design and do the fit out work for Sattar & Co, a high-caliber law firm with a combination of in-depth specialist skills and overarching understanding of the legal framework in Bangladesh.
The design intent was to create a contemporary and rich interior, which reflected the firm’s work. The meeting room was incorporated with full height bookshelves as part of the design. It served as both a formal meeting room and a library for the lawyers.
The client was very specific on the requirements, and the design approach provided this with clarity. A small vertical garden was created in the verandah of the office to give a fresh thinking space for the client. An inviting ambiance has been created throughout with the clean and tranquil material palette of light and dark contrast, greens and greys, along with warm wood finishes. The interesting approach to the design was the use of full height bookshelves in the meeting room, as partitions to incorporate all the law books that are in the office.
